There are many activities available such as Eco Tours, Caribbean Sailing and Scuba Diving. Have a special Caribbean Wedding.
With a year-round population of less than 150 residents, Jost Van Dyke retains
the island culture that much of the Caribbean has lost. We still fish, have gardens, and engage in
boat-building, yet we have all the modern amenities you desire.
Be casual, during your virgin island vacation, on our barefoot island, in dress
and attitude, all day and night as you dine on local seafood, drink our world-famous "pain-killers" at
the Soggy Dollar bar or dance the night away with the music at world famous Foxy's.
We
are first cousins with the U.S. Virgin Islands, without the
hassles. Our language is English, we use the U.S. dollar, have the
same current (110v), and you will find the same products found in
the U.S. For U.S. citizens traveling to the British Virgin Islands, a passport is needed to return into the U.S. after December 31, 2006.
White Bay Villas & Seaside Cottages offer experienced full-time, and 24/7 onsite property managers. We also have experienced childcare available. There are 13 fun and wonderfully unique restaurants on the island, all on the beach! Our prices are much cheaper than St. John! We have great shopping in our island boutiques, jeep and boat rentals, fantastic scuba diving and snorkeling, wonderful hiking trails and world class fishing. It is a romantic natural paradise and is perfect for couples vacationing or honeymooning, as well as families, groups, and reunions. Our Caribbean Rental Villas are easy to reach with many regularly scheduled ferries from St. Thomas, St. John and Tortola.
We
are proud to be an environmentally sensitive and ecologically
friendly destination. Powdery white sand beaches, crystal-clear
blue Caribbean water, and warm sunshine are the order for the day.
Sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, sunbathing, hiking-
it's all here on Jost Van Dyke, The Last Virgin
Island.
