"Firstly, Marlon and I loved our stay at White Bay Villas and Seaside Cottages. We lapped up the spacious, comfortable and serene ambiance of our villa (Sunset Villa East). I didn't think we'd be using the kitchen much but actually, having breakfast and lunch up on the terrace with the peerless views and the delicious tradewinds (and, of course the much longed for privacy) turned out to be a major plus. We stocked up at Marina Market as you suggested - good selection and no more expensive than what we're used to in Fairfield County.

Mouthwatering though they are, the pictures in the brochure did not do justice to the astonishing wrap-around views of sea and surrounding islands visible from every window of our villa. We were enchanted with the place and especially loved falling asleep with the doors wide open to the stars. 

The island too was a delight. Unspoiled, untrammeled by tourists, genuinely friendly. Just big enough for variety and small enough to quickly feel like a local and get to know the characters. Small enough also not to feel guilty for glueing ourselves to White Bay Beach. Even if there was a riot of other beaches why leave such a pristine, tranquil spot. Ivan's Stress free bar quickly became our second home. We thought we'd died and gone to heaven the first afternoon we hit the beach and Marilyn thrust a freezing cold Painkiller into our hands and Rueben Chinnery started to sing.

Altogether our week on Jost Van Dyke could not have been better. I know we'd love to stay at WBVillas again."
